Privacy and data
What is in your house is nobody else’s business.
A list of your medication, your documents and which cupboard holds your cash is sensitive by nature. This page explains in plain terms what the app stores, where it lives, and what we will never do with it.
This is the plain-English summary. The formal privacy policy is being finalised and will be published here before the app leaves beta.
On your phone
Your record lives here first
Items, quantities, places, notes, expiry dates and photos are written to your phone and read from it. That copy is the one that counts, which is why the app works with no connection. Photos never leave the device.
On our server
Only what sync needs
Your email address, so we can sign you in with a code, and the item records themselves, so a second phone in the household can see them. Nothing else about you is collected.
On your phone, locally
Reminders are scheduled on the device
Expiry reminders are set by the app on your own phone. We do not send push notifications, so we do not need to know what is expiring or when.
What we never do
No tracking
There are no analytics libraries in the app and no third party scripts following you between screens.
No ads
No advertising libraries, no sponsored checklist items, and no affiliate links in our guides.
No selling
We never sell your data, and we do not share your record with insurers, retailers or anyone else.
No card details
Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play. Your payment details never reach us.
Taking your record with you
Settings can export everything you have recorded as a file you can share, print or keep somewhere else. It is a reasonable thing to keep a paper copy of, and it means leaving the app costs you nothing.
Deleting it
Ask us to close your account and the records held for sync are removed. Deleting the app removes the copy on your phone, photos included. We will confirm the exact process on this page alongside the full policy.
The website itself
This site keeps the same promise as the app. If a page ever needs a cookie beyond the one that remembers you have read a notice, it will ask first, and the answer will be recorded here.
The beta email list
If you join the beta list we hold your email address to send your invite and occasional notes about the beta. One link in every message unsubscribes you, and the list is never shared.
Questions about any of this can go to the support address, which will be published with the full policy.
No tracking, no ads, and we never sell your data. That is the whole position, and the app is built so we could not change our minds quietly.
